Medical Marijuana and Medical Conditions

No doubt you’ve tired of the phrase An Apple a Day keeps the Doctor Away. Well, we’ve updated it based on new findings, experiences, and a changing culture of acceptance and scientific studies: A joint a day to keep illness at bay.

For all the criticism and backlash that marijuana receives, much of the research till date has shown that the plant has many certain aspects to helping patients to fight various diseases. Usually when the name weed, marijuana or cannabis is used, it is often associated with drug addicts, intoxication and hallucinations, however many doctors and specialists have observed many positive effects from marijuana – physically and mentally. Although, there are of course disadvantages to using marijuana, there are several diseases that it helps to fight with, that even modern medicine is unable to do.

Smoking Weed Every Day

Here are 10 major diseases that marijuana may help to fight with:

  1. Alzheimer’s Disease
  2. Epilepsy/Seizures
  3. Multiple Sclerosis/Muscle Spasm
  4. Cancer
  5. Schizophrenia
  6. Type 2 Diabetes
  7. Asthma/Breathing Disorders
  8. Erectile Dysfunction/Impotence
  9. Arthritis
  10. Hepatitis C

For decades, the marijuana plant has been scrutinized and criticized as being a gateway drug towards harder drugs (heroin, etc),  long-term addiction and memory problems. However, there has not been direct evidence to prove these negative effects and as such cannot be taken to be true. In addition, for centuries many history books have shown than ancient civilizations have the marijuana plant to help ailments and diseases alike when there was no existence of modern medicine and technology; as such we should research and test into how the marijuana plant can help us treat and cure the major diseases including the coronavirus.

Summary

Apples are great, don’t get us wrong. They’re healthy, refreshing, and great superfoods (not to mention just plain awesome in pie! Who doesn’t love pie?) But times are evolving and new options are becoming more effective and popular. Sure there’s science behind the apple a day claim, but there’s actually even more behind the A joint a day to keep illness at bay saying. So do your research, even eat an apple while doing it, and then toke up. Nothing’s stopping you from doing both. After all, apples soothe the munchies.
