If you are planning to entertain some friends who happen to be fellow CBD enthusiasts, you are going to love our CBD Party Recipes which incorporate good old hemp into particularly fun and festive party foods.  These five recipes are great for parties big and small, and the CBD goes above and beyond to make sure that each one hits the spot in multiple ways.

The Heart of the CBD Party Recipe – CBD Butter

Some of the following recipes call for CBD butter, which is butter infused with the hemp buds.  This can be made ahead of time and large batches, as it lasts for about 6 months when refrigerated.  To make CBD butter, you’ll need to combine two sticks of unsalted butter with one cup of raw hemp flower.


  1. Decarboxylate the hemp to activate its compounds.
  2. To do this, simply line a baking sheet with parchment paper, and pour the buds directly onto the sheet in an even layer.
  3. Bake at 250 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 minutes, shaking the pan every 10 minutes.
  4. Then, grind the baked herb until it is coarse.
  5. Now, you can place the two cups of butter and one cup of water into a saucepan and simmer until the butter is melted.
  6. Add the CBD flower and simmer on low for 2 and a half hours, stirring from time to time. *Never let this mixture boil.
  7. Pour the mixture into a jar and refrigerate.


 CBD Recipe – Spinach and Artichoke Dip

If there is one dip that can please a crowd, it’s spinach and artichoke dip.  As you will see, we have infused our dip with CBD butter to make it extra special.


  • -1 6oz packet of frozen spinach, thawed and drained
  • -1 14oz can of artichoke hearts, drained of liquid and chopped coarsely
  • -3 tbsp CBD butter
  • -1 8oz pack of cream cheese, softened
  • -1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • -1/4 cup sour cream
  • -1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • -salt and pepper, to taste


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Into a small frying pan, combine the CBD butter, spinach, and artichokes.
  3. Cook at low heat until the butter is melted and evenly incorporated into the vegetables.
  4. Into a mixing bowl, combine the spinach, artichokes, cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise.
  5. Add salt and pepper and give it a taste. *Add more if necessary.
  6. Pour the mixture into a small baking pan.
  7. Top with the shredded mozzarella.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is golden-brown.
  9. Serve with bread, chips, or even vegetables.

CBD Recipe – Nachos

What makes people’s mouths water more than a big platter of nachos, topped with all of those tasty ingredients which are native to Mexican cuisine?  Our nacho recipe sneaks the perfect amount of CBD into the mix so that you and your guests can enjoy the properties of hemp while indulging.


  • -1 bag of tortilla chips
  • -1 can refried beans
  • -1 cup of sour cream
  • -1 cup of store-bought guacamole
  • -3/4 lb. ground beef
  • -2 tbsp chili seasoning
  • -2 tbsp chili sauce
  • -3 tbsp CBD butter
  • -1 cup shredded jack cheese
  • -1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • -Salt and pepper
  • -1 bunch scallions, thinly sliced


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Into a pan, sear the ground beef on medium heat.
  3. Season well with salt and pepper, and the chili seasoning.
  4. When the ground beef is fully cooked, pour in the chili sauce.
  5. Stir well and cook for five minutes before turning off the heat.
  6. After 2 minutes, add the CBD butter.
  7. Line an 8×12 baking dish with an even layer of the tortilla chips.
  8. Then, pour the chili on top.
  9. Top it off with a mixture of the two cheeses, and bake for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
  10. Allow the nachos to cool for 8 minutes.
  11. Then, evenly disperse large scoops of the refried beans, sour cream, and guacamole.
  12. Top with the scallions.

CBD Recipe – Potato Skins

Potato skins are a staple of game day, but they can be enjoyed at any time of the week or day.  In fact, they can make a great dinner side dish if you are in the mood for something crispy, cheesy and tasty.  These potato skins use CBD butter to take on a whole new level of satisfying.


  • -6 russet potatoes, scrubbed well and sliced in half
  • -12 pats of CBD butter
  • -2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • -2 cups bacon bits
  • -1 bunch scallions, finely sliced
  • -1 ½ cup sour cream for serving
  • -Salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Onto a baking sheet, line the potato halves skin side down.
  3. Bake for 45 minutes, or until the potatoes can be easily punctured with a fork.
  4. Remove the potatoes from the oven and bring the temperature down to 350 degrees.
  5. Allow the potatoes to cool before scooping out the inside to make each one concave.
  6. Salt each potato half well.
  7. Now, onto each slice, place a pat of the CBD butter, followed by a generous handful of cheese, followed by the bacon bits.
  8. Bake the potato skins for another 35 minutes, or until the cheese is browned at the top.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
  10. Top with the scallions and serve with sour cream on the side.

CBD Recipe – Chocolate Cake

There is something about cakes that always makes the baker beginner nervous, but the reality is that many cake recipes are extremely easy.  This chocolate cake recipe is one of the easiest out there, and it takes on the flavor of CBD butter very well while offering a rich and tantalizing flavor.


  • -1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • -1/4 cup CBD butter, softened at room temperature
  • -2 cups white sugar
  • -2 eggs
  • -1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • -1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • -1 cup cocoa powder
  • -1 ½ tsp baking powder
  • -1 ½ tsp baking soda
  • -1 tsp salt
  • -1 cup milk
  • -1 cup boiling water
  • -4 cups of your favorite frosting or icing


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease two 9-inch round baking pans.
  3. Into a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar, butter, and vegetable oil.
  4. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
  5. Into a separate mixing bowl, combine the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  6. Slowly sift this mixture into the bowl containing the wet ingredients, beating along the way.
  7. Pour in the milk and the boiling water and stir well until the cake batter comes together.
  8. Bake the two cake halves for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into each cake comes out clean.
  9. Allow them to cool for 30 minutes before stacking them on top of one another with a full cup of frosting or icing evenly spread over the bottom layer.
  10. Use the remaining frosting or icing to fully cover the outside of the cake.

CBD Recipe – Berry Crumble

Simple, unpretentious, and unbelievably tasty, a berry crumble is always a welcome change from a more elaborate dessert, and it’s easy to prepare.  We made ours with CBD butter to give it a nice boost of hemp compounds, while remaining utterly delicious.


  • -6 cups of mixed berries, fresh
  • -1/2 cup white sugar
  • -1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • -1/4 cup plus ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • -1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, chilled and cut into cubes
  • -1/4 cup CBD butter, chilled and cut into cubes
  • -1 cup rolled oats
  • -1 cup brown sugar
  • -2 tsp salt


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9-inch pie plate.
  3. Into a small bowl, combine the berries, white sugar, cinnamon, and ¼ cup flour.
  4. Pour into the pie plate.
  5. Into a medium bowl, combine the ½ cup flour, rolled oats, butters, brown sugar and salt.
  6. Use your fingers to break up the butter and distribute it throughout the butter until you get a coarse consistency.
  7. Pour this directly on top of the berry mixture.
  8. Bake for an hour, until the top is golden-brown.
  9. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream
