Delta-10 THC is destined to be a huge success over the next few months, and companies are just starting to roll out delta-10 in familiar to everyone forms like vape cartridges, tinctures, gummies, and more. With its mild intoxicating qualities and its potential to provide more boosting effects, it is not surprising that hemp enthusiasts cannot wait to try this compound out for themselves.

One thing that is true for all cannabinoids, delta-10 included, is that the effects we experience are dose-dependent. In other words, how much of a delta 10 product we take determines the experience that we end up having. What makes things a little more complicated is that delta-10, like other hemp products, comes in various milligram strengths. This is another factor that must be carefully considered when starting up a new cannabinoid routine.

Factors that Affect the Proper Milligram Strength and Dosage for an Individual

As we said, dosage and milligram strength have to be considered when starting intaking delta-10 THC. The dosage refers to the quantity of product that you take, such as one gummy or a full milliliter of a tincture. The milligram strength reflects delta 10 THC dosage in a product, as determined by the manufacturer. Therefore, the milligram strength of your delta-10 formula tells you how potent each dose will be.

Keep in mind that the milligram strength of a product can be presented in one of two ways:

  • presents milligrams per piece, like a capsule or a gummy;
  • provides the total number of milligrams in the entire formula, like a tincture or vape oil.

Now that you have a better understanding of the difference between dosage and milligram strength and why each one is important, we can cover some factors to answer the question, “How much delta 10 should I take?” Ultimately, these factors should be considered about potency per dose because most of us would rather take, say, one high-strength capsule than 4 low-strength capsules if we require a higher delta 10 dosage daily to get the satisfaction we are looking for.

Factor #1: Your Endocannabinoid System

Scientists are still trying to figure out exactly why some of us have higher tolerances for the effects of cannabinoids than others. Still, it likely has to do with each individual’s endocannabinoid system. Individuals have different amounts of cannabinoid receptors in their bodies, and it seems that the fewer of these receptors you have, the higher the number of cannabinoids you need to take each day to get the results that you desire.

We also know that weight plays a role, as we have seen that those with a lower-than-average body weight tend to get the desired effects with lower-than-standard delta 10 THC dosage and all other cannabinoids for that matter.

Factor #2: The Delivery Method You Choose

Every delivery method, whether vaping, ingesting, sublingual intake, or even topical administration, allows delta 10 to absorb into the body differently. And how cannabinoids are absorbed into the body has a lot to do with how effective they are. For example, inhaling delta 10 is highly efficient and offers fast-acting and potent effects compared to other methods. Ingestion of the same delta 10 dosage will have very potent and long-lasting effects, but at the same time, it will take longer for the body to metabolize those, and the effects kick in.

That means that more efficiently absorbing delivery methods allow us to get the results we want with less product consumption as you get the effects almost immediately.

Factor #3: How High You Want to Get

Always be cautious when choosing the strength and dosage of your product. With CBD, even high doses will not lead to psychoactive effects, but with delta-10 THC, taking more than necessary can give a person an unwanted, overwhelming experience.

Delta 10 THC Dosing Chart

Now that we have covered some of the basics when it comes to choosing the right dosage of вelta-10 THC, there are no strict instructions on how much to take. However, there is a general rule familiar to everyone: start low and start slow.

But overall, there can be drafted a so-called delta 10 dosage chart

  • Beginner dose: 5 to 15 mg per. It is highly advised to start at the lowest and wait till the effects kick in and see how you respond. With a further dose increase, you will get to the one that makes you feel the most comfortable.
  • Medium dose: having developed medium tolerance, your dosage may increase up to 45–50 mg.
  • High dose: with a high tolerance to delta-10 THC, it can be up to 100–150 mg.

Anyway, it is always recommended to consult your doctor or healthcare provider before introducing any dose of delta-10 THC into your daily routine. And, also, we recommend checking the article “will you fail a drug test with delta 10 thc“.

Standard Delta 10 Dosage Per Delivery Method

Each delivery method comes with its own recommended dosage and milligram strength amount, which is a general guideline based on what suits most users. This guide can help you figure out how much to take as a beginner. However, your experience might differ as all of us, and our bodies are different. In case you have any ongoing medical conditions or you take any medication, please consult your healthcare provider.

Delta 10 Tinctures

Delta 10 tinctures are extremely easy to dose out and, at the same time, are extremely potent. Taken sublingually, the effects kick in quite fast. Hence it is better for beginners to start ¼ or ½ of a dropper, gradually increasing their dosage. Droppers cover exactly the dose of 1ml; thus with a 30ml bottle and 1000mg potent, you will get an average dosage of 33mg.

Delta 10 THC Capsules

Being ingested, Delta 10 capsules require more time to deliver the desired effects. Their potency usually varies from 10 to 25mg per capsule. Beginners are as usually advised to start low-dose.

Delta 10 THC Gummies

Like capsules, gummies and other edibles are absorbed by our body through the digestive process. Hence 10 to 25 milligrams per piece is a standard dosage. Easy to dose out and regulate.

Delta 10 Vapes

Vaping products usually have the same dosing guidelines, which are 1 to 3 puffs per session. When vaping, delta-10 THC is absorbed very easily, and as said earlier, you do not need as many milligrams per session to get the desired results. This is similar for THC Carts and Weed pens

Now, to figure out how many milligrams you are vaping per puff, there is a simple formula that you can follow. First, divide the number of milligram strengths in the product by the number of milliliters. And since each milliliter produces around 100 puffs, you divide the number by 100. For example, if you have a 1ml cartridge with a 500mg strength, that’s 500 milligrams per milliliter and 5mg per puff.

Delta 10 Flower

Flower infused with delta 10 extract doesn’t usually come according to the milligram strength but rather the percentage of delta 10 in the total chemical composition of the flower. 1 to 3 puffs are standard for flowers, as all inhalable products follow this dosing guideline.

Delta 10 THC Concentrates

Dabs, or concentrates, are very potent products that are not really ideal for beginners who have not yet developed a tolerance to the effects of delta 10 THC. With dabs, 1 to 3 puffs are a standard dose, but the number of milligrams of delta 10 you’re getting is much higher due to their high potency. A lot of dabs on the market contain roughly 1000mg per gram, which can be at least twice as potent as most standard vape oils on the market.

Dosing with Delta 10 is Pretty Much the Same as Dosing with Other Cannabinoids

This is both in terms of the amount you take and the milligram strength. These guidelines above can help you get started, but note that because everyone is unique, you may find that increasing or decreasing the amount of delta-10 you consume better suits your needs. The same logic applies to other cannabis-derived products.

It is advised to avoid driving or operating any other machinery; alcohol and drug use are also not recommended. Use responsibly!
