Nan is a popular Indian flatbread that can be enjoyed with a variety of dishes. In this recipe, we will show you how to infuse nan with cannabis, making it an excellent addition to any cannabis-infused meal.
Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup warm water
- 1 tbsp cannabis-infused oil
- 1 tbsp melted butter
Going Step by Step
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, and baking soda.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt, warm water, and cannabis-infused oil.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough and let it rest for 1-2 hours.
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Divide the dough into 4-6 equal parts and roll each one into a flat disc.
- Brush each disc with melted butter.
- Place the discs on the skillet or griddle and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
Tips
- Make sure to let the dough rest for at least an hour to give it time to rise and become fluffy.
- If you don’t have cannabis-infused oil, you can use regular oil and sprinkle some ground cannabis on top of the nan before cooking.
- Nan pairs well with a variety of dishes, including curries, soups, and stews.
