Depression-era recipe might not be all that popular anymore, but there was a time when they were an important tool in nearly every kitchen.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ¼ cup cannabis-infused butter, melted
- 2 cups boiling water
Going Step by Step
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and sugar, then add the vanilla extract, lemon juice, and melted cannabis-infused butter. Mix well until the ingredients are thoroughly combined.
- Pour the boiling water into the mixture and stir until smooth.
- Pour the batter evenly into the greased pie dish.
- Place the pie dish in the preheated oven and bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool completely before serving.
- Give it a try and enjoy!
Tips
- For a twist, you can add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the batter for some extra flavor.
- Serve the Water Pie with a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a delightful dessert experience.
- Store any leftover pie in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
We are sure you are a perfect cook! Nonetheless, do remember to pay attention to the amount of Water Pie you consume: it should always be modified based on the strength of your product and the potency you desire. Dosing homemade edibles can be tricky, so it is strongly recommended to start with one portion of a serving. After one or two hours, listen to your body and decide whether to consume more. It is not recommended to drive or operate any machinery when taking edibles. Use responsibly!
