The most challenging part about this dish is stopping at just one, as the sweet and tangy sauce combination is a delight for the taste buds.

Ingredients

  • 1 pork shoulder (4-5 pounds)
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon cannabis-infused olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Going Step by Step

  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. This will be your dry rub.
  3. Rub the dry rub mixture all over the pork shoulder, ensuring it is evenly coated.
  4. In a large Dutch oven or oven-safe pot, heat the cannabis-infused olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, sear the pork shoulder on all sides until browned.
  5. In a separate bowl, combine the BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard. Mix well to create your sauce.
  6. Pour the sauce mixture over the seared pork shoulder, making sure it is evenly coated.
  7. Cover the pot with a lid or aluminum foil, and transfer it to the preheated oven.
  8. Cook the pork shoulder for approximately 3-4 hours or until it is tender and easily shreddable.
  9. Once cooked, remove the pork shoulder from the pot and transfer it to a cutting board. Using two forks, shred the meat.
  10. 10. Return the shredded pork to the pot and mix it with the remaining sauce. Allow it to simmer for an additional 10 minutes to soak up the flavors.
  11. 11. Serve the weed-infused pulled pork on buns or alongside your favorite sides. Enjoy!
  12. Give it a try and enjoy!

Tips

  • Adjust the amount of cannabis-infused olive oil based on your desired potency.
  • Start with a smaller amount and increase if desired.
  • Feel free to experiment with different BBQ sauces to find your favorite flavor profile.
  • For added smokiness, consider adding a teaspoon of liquid smoke to the sauce mixture.
  • Leftover pulled pork can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.

We are sure you are a perfect cook! Nonetheless, do remember to pay attention to the amount of Weed-Infused Pulled Pork you consume: it should always be modified based on the strength of your product and the potency you desire. Dosing homemade edibles can be tricky, so it is strongly recommended to start with one portion of a serving. After one or two hours, listen to your body and decide whether to consume more. It is not recommended to drive or operate any machinery when taking edibles. Use responsibly!
