Ingredients

  • 4 cups of whole wheat bread, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Going Step by Step

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  2. Cut the bread slices into small cubes.
  3. Place the cubed bread onto a baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the bread cubes and toss them to coat.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasoning, salt , and pepper over the bread cubes and toss them again.
  6. Bake the bread cubes for 10-15 minutes or until they're golden brown and crispy.

  8. Place the cooled breadcrumbs into a food processor or blender and pulse until they're finely ground.
  9. Store the breadcrumbs in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 6 months.
