"Wonderful place to stay for a few days! Relaxing and friendly all around. Adventuring is very easy by foot, bike, or golf cart. Sunsets are amazing to watch from the beaches or upper shorelines. Ferry runs on a consistent basis - cheap and easy. Buy a ticket in Portland and just hop on the ferry in Peaks to get back to Portland. I visited in summer time - lots of people come in through the daytime but everything returns to calm and quiet after 8:00 pm when all the shops and restaurants close up. I recommend Peaks to anyone looking for a low key getaway without a lot of stuff to distract and get in the way of slowing down life." - Sarah Carsello
